How does column reordering work?

Grab any column header and drag it left or right. A blue insertion line shows where the column will land. Release to drop. The new column order is saved per user and per entity type — it persists across sessions and devices. Other team members keep their own column order.

How does row reordering work?

Each row has a grip handle on the left side. Grab it and drag up or down. The dragged row lifts with a subtle shadow and the other rows animate to make room. The new position is saved as a manual sort order. This overrides the current sort — a "Manual order" badge appears in the toolbar.

Does drag-and-drop work on mobile?

Yes. Long-press (400ms) activates drag mode on touch devices. Drag with your finger to reposition. The drop zone highlights clearly. Haptic feedback confirms pickup and drop on supported devices. The experience is optimized for touch — larger hit targets and smoother animations.
