Each workflow stage gets its own color from a palette of 8. Columns are instantly distinguishable, even with many stages.

Works with any status field
Any entity type with a select field can be viewed as kanban. Define stages in the schema builder, and the kanban view creates columns automatically. A "No Stage" column appears for items without a value.
