WordPress Integration

Push content directly to your WordPress site

WordPress
API Key

The WordPress connector lets WISEROWS publish generated content to any self-hosted or WordPress.com site via the REST API. Write and enrich posts, pages, and glossary terms in WISEROWS, then push them live in a single action. Pull existing content back for AI enrichment, and keep publish status in sync so your editorial dashboard always reflects what is live.

What You Can Do

Publish posts and pages

push

Send WISEROWS entities to WordPress as posts, pages, or custom post types — including title, body, SEO meta, and featured image.

Import existing content

pull

Pull published WordPress posts and pages into WISEROWS as entities so you can enrich, update, or repurpose them with AI.

Update publish status

sync

Keep the WISEROWS entity status field in sync with WordPress post status (draft, publish, private, trash).

Setup in Minutes

  1. 1

    Generate an application password

In your WordPress admin, go to Users → Profile → Application Passwords. Create a new password named "WISEROWS" and copy the generated key.

Tip: Application passwords require WordPress 5.6+ with pretty permalinks enabled.

  2. 2

Enter your site URL and credentials

In WISEROWS connector settings, enter your WordPress site URL (e.g. https://yoursite.com), your WordPress username, and the application password.

  3. 3

Map entity types to post types

Choose which WISEROWS entity types map to which WordPress post types. You can also target custom post types registered by your theme or plugins.

Tip: Install the WISEROWS WordPress plugin for advanced field mapping support with ACF and Yoast SEO.

  4. 4

    Configure field mappings

Map WISEROWS fields (title, content, slug, tags, categories, SEO meta) to their WordPress equivalents. Test with a single entity before bulk publishing.
