How does inline editing work in the table view?

Click any cell to enter edit mode. Text and number fields become editable inputs immediately. Booleans toggle with a single click. Select fields open a dropdown. Press Enter to save or Escape to cancel. Changes are persisted instantly via Convex — no save button required.

What filter operators are available?

WISEROWS ships with 20+ filter operators organized by field type. Text fields support contains, equals, starts with, ends with, regex, fuzzy duplicate detection, whitespace issues, casing inconsistencies, and character/word count ranges. Number fields support greater than, less than, between, and outlier detection. Dates support before, after, within last X days, and between. Select fields support equals and not equals. Cross-row operators include has duplicates, is unique, and fuzzy matches.

Can I save and share filter presets?

Yes. Save any combination of filters, sort order, and column visibility as a named view. Views are stored per entity type and can be shared with your team. Switch between saved views with one click from the view dropdown.

What are column statistics?

Column statistics provide per-column analytics: fill rate percentage, average character/word count for text fields, min/max/mean/median/standard deviation for numbers, date range and span for dates, and frequency breakdown for select fields. A distribution histogram shows value distribution across 5 buckets.

What are the 4 density levels?

Compact mode uses extra-small text and minimal padding to fit the most rows on screen. Default mode uses small text with standard padding for balanced readability. Expanded mode adds relaxed line-height for a spacious feel. Content mode enables multi-line cell rendering, ideal for long text fields like descriptions or notes.

How do real-time updates work in the table?

WISEROWS uses Convex subscriptions for real-time data sync. When a teammate changes a value, only the affected cell re-renders with a subtle gold shimmer animation. Your own edits update immediately without the flash. Even with 1,000 rows displayed, a single cell change only triggers one row re-render.

How does shift-click selection work?

Click a checkbox to select a single row. Hold Shift and click another checkbox to select all rows in between. Use the header checkbox to select or deselect all visible rows. Selected rows unlock a bulk action bar with options to update, delete, enrich with AI, or export.

Can I resize and reorder columns?

Yes. Drag the column border to resize any column. Drag the column header to reorder columns. Column widths and order are saved per user and persist across sessions. You can also toggle column visibility from the column settings dropdown.

Does the table support keyboard navigation?

Yes. Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between cells. Enter opens edit mode on the focused cell. Escape cancels editing. Arrow keys navigate between cells when not in edit mode. These shortcuts make it possible to edit entire rows without touching the mouse.

How many rows can the table handle?

The table uses virtualization and pagination to handle large datasets efficiently. Convex reactive queries load data in pages, and only visible rows are rendered in the DOM. Filter and sort operations run on the server so performance stays consistent regardless of dataset size.
